猫咪为什么会角膜炎？
猫的角膜炎多数由相邻组织炎症（如结膜炎）引起或混合感染而成，急性角膜炎如得不到及时有效的控制和治疗，将迅速转变为慢性，甚至导致角膜溃疡，以至眼球更严重病变，治疗麻烦且不彻底，因此，要加强对猫角膜炎的预防，尽量防止急性角膜炎的发作。
1、病原。引起猫角膜炎的病原种类较多，包括病毒、细菌、寄生虫（如球虫）、真菌、衣原体、支原体和异物刺激、物理化学性伤害等，临床上比较常见的引起猫角膜炎的病原以衣原体、病毒和细菌等为主，一般呈地方流行性或混发其它疾病（如猫鼻支等）发生，可导致被感染猫出现不同程度的结膜炎、结膜充血、水样或脓性角 conjunctivitis of the two eyes， blepharospasm， photophobia and other symptoms and signs， in addition also likely to cause other complications cat respiratory tract and reproductive tract and other organs， seriously affecting cat health， production and reproduction， can even cause economic loss， so in cat farm management， cat often occurred in the disease must give a high degree of attention to prevention and treatment.
2、临诊症状猫。发生衣原体性角膜炎时，在发病初期出现不同程度的两眼结膜炎，结膜充血，大量流眼泪，眼睑痉挛，怕光，病重时眼内充满脓性分泌物，逐渐形成慢性结膜炎，角膜混浊、增厚、失去透明性等。
